SCP Tier List

Ranking overview

This tier list covers SCP Facility Experience on Roblox: a co-op Foundation facility where you explore, contain, and survive breaches inspired by SCP: Containment Breach. Contained entities called out across the experience include SCP-096, 106, 173, 035, 049, 008, 009, 294, 409, 457, 500, 6551, and additional anomalies as the catalog grows. Playable control is currently highlighted for SCP-035 and SCP-049-2.

We publish two lenses:

  • Survivor threat (vs humans): how likely the anomaly is to wipe uncoordinated squads during exploration, blackouts, or containment breaches.
  • Playable fun / pressure: how rewarding the kit feels when you play as an SCP using movement plus special attack (F / Y).

Tiers: S exceptional · A high · B solid · C situational / manageable. Rankings are educational snapshots for K.M.T Studio’s live place—not datamined DPS sheets. Revisit after patches via Updates.

Survivor threat tier list

S-tier threats

SCP-173 — The Sculpture. Classic statue rules apply: if nobody is looking, it moves; blink windows are lethal. In this experience you get an explicit blink bind (B / L2)—use it deliberately instead of panicking. Squads that forget eye contact discipline die first. Pair with Controls drills before deep runs.

SCP-096 — Shy Guy. Looking at its face is the failure state. In chaotic corridors and breach spam, accidental peeks happen constantly. Callouts (“096 hallway left—eyes down!”) matter more than raw aim. Treat any unplanned face reveal as a full sprint emergency.

SCP-106 — The Old Man. Corrosion, pocket-dimension fantasy, and corner pressure make 106 a morale breaker. Players who tunnel-vision on loot during blackouts walk into him. Keep routes wide, avoid dead ends, and assign one teammate to watch rear angles.

A-tier threats

SCP-049 — Plague Doctor. Fear comes from contact fantasy and conversion themes; in co-op horror, 049 punishes isolated players. Stay in pairs when plague-adjacent audio or silhouettes appear.

SCP-035 — Possessive Mask. Dual identity: terrifying as an environmental/story threat and potent as a playable SCP. Survivors should respect mask-related encounters and not treat “playable” as “harmless NPC.”

SCP-008 / SCP-009 style bio & ice hazards. Infection and extreme-temperature fantasies punish lingering in contaminated wings. During breaches, skip greedy loot rooms if the audio telegraphs plague or freeze themes.

B-tier threats

SCP-457 — Fire entity themes. Dangerous in chokepoints and when vision is already poor, but more telegraphed than 173/096 for alert squads with Night Vision discipline (N / D-Pad Up).

SCP-409. Crystal/contagion style pressure is serious if ignored, yet experienced groups can route around known chambers once mapped.

SCP-6551 and lesser-listed anomalies. Treat unknown numbers as A until proven otherwise on your first sighting, then demote them mentally once counterplay is clear. The facility rewards caution more than wiki memorization.

C-tier / utility encounters

SCP-294. More “facility interaction / wildcard drink” energy than chase horror. Still respect unknown outputs—curiosity kills—but it is not the same threat class as 173.

SCP-500. Pill themes skew supportive/mythic rather than pursuit predator. Do not stand still crafting a plan in a breach lane just to theorycraft medical SCPs.

Low-activity contained props. Some listed numbers exist primarily as containment set dressing until a breach AI package wakes them. Never assume safe forever—blackouts change rules.

Playable SCP fun / pressure tiers

S-tier playable

SCP-035 — High identity, possession fantasy, and strong “hunt the facility” vibes. Special attack (F / Y) plus mask lore fantasy makes 035 a headline pick for players who want to be the breach. Excellent for teaching survivors why callouts matter.

A-tier playable

SCP-049-2 — Zombie / plague-doctor offspring fantasy: relentless pressure, great for swarming separated humans, slightly more straightforward than 035’s mind-game fantasy. Superb when breaches already fractured the map.

B / C for future kits

Additional playable SCPs are coming per studio messaging. Until they ship, avoid inventing kits. When new entries arrive, we will slot them here and link new Players pages. Expect early balance swings.

Matchups and counterplay notes

SituationPriority response
173 in hallwayMaintain lookers; blink on bind; never all blink together
096 angeredBreak line of sight to face; sprint as group; no hero peeks
106 pressureAvoid corners; keep alternate exits; do not greed corpses
Blackout + any S-tierNV/SCRAMBLE up; slow pushes; constant voice callouts
Playing 035/049-2Flank isolated survivors; use F/Y on clustered targets

Cash incentives (friend x1.2, group x1.2, codes) reward living longer—tier awareness is literally earning efficiency.

How to practice with this list

  1. Run a low-stakes session after redeeming codes (How to Redeem).
  2. Drill blink + NV binds from Controls.
  3. Do one intentional breach-focused run using Survive a Containment Breach.
  4. Swap to SCP side once and feel the hunter perspective via Play as SCP.
  5. Compare notes with the Tier List Hub after patches.

Seasonal caveat

During the Halloween event (candy doors, Mr. Yolo quests, seasonal codes like CANDY), player traffic and objective routing change. Threat tiers stay lore-adjacent, but encounter frequency near event props can spike. Do not downgrade S-tier threats just because you are hunting candy.

Master the S-tier names first, then expand. The facility is generous with second chances only when your squad respects what is behind each chamber door.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for SCP Facility Experience players.

What is the scariest SCP for new survivors?

SCP-173 and SCP-096 typically end uncoordinated runs fastest—blink discipline and face-avoidance are mandatory basics.

Which playable SCP should I try first?

SCP-035 for identity and mind-game fantasy, or SCP-049-2 if you prefer straightforward chase pressure. Both use the special attack bind F / Y.

Is SCP-294 dangerous?

It ranks lower as a pursuit threat but unknown interactions can still punish curiosity. Treat it carefully without confusing it for a 173-level chase.

Will this tier list change?

Yes. Patches, new contained SCPs, and new playable kits from K.M.T Studio can reshuffle mid-tiers. Check Updates after major drops.

Do co-op bonuses change tiers?

Bonuses do not rewrite threat ranks, but living longer with friends makes tier knowledge more valuable because cash multipliers reward survival.

Where can I read kit details?

See the Players pages for SCP-035 and SCP-049-2, plus the Play as SCP guide for controls and tips.
